Welcome to God’s Church

We are a body of Christian believers who love God and one another. We believe the bible is God’s primary language for humanity to fully understand God’s plan and humanity’s purpose. We believe God created us because he loves us. We believe God sent his son Jesus to illustrate his unlimited grace, and has provided salvation for those who accept, confess and believe from their hearts. We believe God’s desire is for us to continually love our brothers and sisters unconditionally as he loves us.

The Bridge

At the very heart of our community is connection. We believe the source of one’s life is driven by their commitment to accepting who they are in Christ and all that He has in store for their destiny. So “God’s Church” is committed to introducing you to 4 steps in which our ministry is founded upon the principles of maturing and remaining healthy in the Faith. In other words, this is a way of life within a spiritual journey. The only thing you must do is follow the Way. We are just a group of ordinary people who have decided to walk with Jesus.

WE WELCOME YOU

Family- Our teachings are completely bible based. We believe God is the head of our family. Here are two illustrations of how our community identifies Family.

Genesis. 2:21-25 declares, “But for Adam[f] no suitable helper was found. 21 So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs[g] and then closed up the place with flesh. 22 Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib[h] he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. 23 The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.” 24 That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh. 25 Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.

It is important that we value the structure and design of what God created as the family. God created the family for multiple reasons. We believe his desire is for us to be fruitful which is to be productive. We believe God desires for us to maintain relationships. The greatest essence of Eve’s creation was to complete Adam’s void of loneliness. We believe strength, wisdom, support and love is achieved when you join God’s family. We also believe the foundation of a blessed home is a home that honor and serve the LORD.

The second part to the family is the connection component. You are not alone. Acts Chapter 4:32 records, “32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.”

As a Church you are a part of a larger family. Our community serves as a small piece to a much larger Kingdom puzzle. In our most challenged times, we are tasked with having above the surface conversations. We are tasked with facing our issues with the heart of Christ. We are tasked with dealing with difficult situations. Not becoming complacent and bitter but becoming aware and in tuned with the Holy Spirit to lead others to the Truth. We believe in more than becoming a member. We believe in the supernatural power of God leading you to become a part of a family who Loves the Lord.  Be a part of a family who loves unconditionally just as Christ loves.

Church- We believe Jesus Christ is the head of the Church.

Colossians 1:18 states,  “And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.” We believe Jesus is in charge. Jesus is our denomination. Jesus is the High Priest. Jesus is our over-seer. Jesus is our all and all. As Acts chapter 2 reports of a mighty Pentecostal move of God, we believe our community serves as an extension of scriptural continuance. Thus, we find it very important to devote much time to Bible teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Religion is a word that has been used to categorize and stifle Christianity, however we believe the main ingredient for a healthy Church is relationship.

Ministry

Christians are called to be servants of Jesus Christ. In the process of joining a family and becoming connected to the church, a transformation will take place if you open your heart up to Jesus. This is all a part of maturing as a believer. Once conversion takes place, a process in which a previously non-Christian person converts to Christianity, new converts typically make a declaration of repentance from past sins, accept Jesus as their Savior and vow to follow his teachings as found in the New Testament.

As you attend services and mature, you will eventually serve in some capacity.  The bible reads, “Mark 10:45, "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.'" We serve sacrificially as Jesus served. Our mindset is, “how may I help you?”  And this counters the worldly concept of, “what am I getting out of doing this?” By the way, It’s okay to make mistakes. The Holy Ghost will teach and guide you along the journey. There are many areas to join. Won’t you step out on faith and see what God has in store for your life? Do not allow your past failures to dictate your future success! Get to work!

Motivated-Determined & Purpose Driven

We are mission minded. We do not believe the Gospel is only for a few select chosen within four walls! We believe many will be trained, equipped and established to go out into the hedges and highways. Matthew 28:19 states, “19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” We are commissioned to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. His message is simple. Jesus made it plain for us. His ultimate desire is for humanity to be free and remain free. True freedom comes from God. Our freedom releases us from selfishness, arrogance, fear, and the desire to control. Our servitude to God frees us to love others and experience eternal life. The primary freedom Christians should be influenced by is the manifestation of the kingdom of God in us.

Allowing Jesus to shape your mind, heart and soul prepares you for your purpose. You no longer must run around like a chicken with its head cut off aimlessly assuming maybe you will get lucky! When the question is asked, what on earth am I here for? Pastor Rick Warren assures us, “It all starts with God.”

YOU BELONG HERE

No longer are the days of people coming into the temple and simply spectating. No longer can you come and say, “I don’t understand this.” No longer is it acceptable for people to come into a community and not feel welcomed. Not another day will go by and the church sit silent saying, “oh well then they will figure it out!” The most disheartened experience is for one to come into a community and not be addressed with a friendly welcome. And I am not talking about a greeter or an usher.

This is our attempt to extend a warm welcome to our community. This message serves as a bridge for one to begin a healthy, nurturing journey with a community of bible believing, Spirit-filled, fun loving believers. It will cost you absolutely nothing other than a choice. Will you join us today?
